The exterior of this 1910 house is compiled of three types of sand and lime bricks with decorative quoins. The brick is composed of three different colors and textures and laid in what is traditionally called Flemish Bond.

In this project Thameside matched the ornamental brick structure of the main house with the new addition. Thameside's challenge was trying to create an entirely new building that resembled the aged brickwork of the existing structure. Thameside blended the decorative brickwork and mortar in order to create a weathered and aged look. The effect is a uniform building that matches the original historic home.
